Best Riddim Eternal Action Krew !

Here is the mission that DA BREAK has given itself for this 3rd album : To drop a new opus of great quality, which will remain eternally engraved in the memories of Soul Music... BOOM! As simple as that! ;)
Jennifer "Hawa" Zonou & Rémy Kaprielan, founding members of the group, have decided to tighten the ranks and clarify the content of their music: an aesthetic still anchored in their dear 90's Soul Hip Hop culture, but also with a sharpened ear, attentive to today's world and sounds, always searching for federating grooves and warm vibes.
DA BREAK has entrusted the production of the LP to Pierre Vadon (also the band's Live keyboard player) who has already proved the quality of his compositions and arrangements on the second album LET IT SHINE. The mission remains unchanged: to gather, in the line of the social values defended in the 90s urban music, crib of their inspiration. Grounded, conscious, questioning, celebrating, comforting, staying open to the world and to each other. Each song is a painting, a story, a reflection...
Composed during an intense period on the emotional level, this album is a subtile mixture of musical influences: from the most old school Hip Hop beat to the most contemporary flow,  going from West Coast vibes to Caribbean colors. DA BREAK IS BACK and its key word remains the same: GROOVE.

lyrics

I guess we'll be fine Let's give time to time Just follow the sign Lovin' & sublime
I guess we'll be fine As long as you're mine Nothing more to find When yo say I'm yo kind
When I see your body Every time I feel so funny Even on a Sunday
I wanna do it my way Let's say it's yo birthday Celebrate in da driveway Never enough of me Everyday is so lovely
I guess we'll be fine Let's give time to time Just follow the sign Lovin' & sublime
I guess we'll be fine As long as you're mine Nothing more to find When yo say I'm yo kind
Every dog needs a bone
Let me chew till 6 in the mornin' See ya Bro’, in a long
I gotta blaze it, sleepy but I’m charmin’ Everybody, listen Ya'll
It is all about fixin' a goal Overthinkin’ freakin’ out on Monday 'just wanna party
CHORUS
Pab the Kid verse
I guess we’ll be fine
Come a little closer
Let me see your face, Let me go over
All your qualities, imperfections that please, everything about you, the way you leave, the way you dress, the way you tease, kinda hard to get over you like a lebanese, and you lebanese, so i’m kinda screwed
Make the same mistake twice, never over view
Don’t matter cause you hella fucking cute,
Discovering you is something new
The more i don’t know you, the more i love you
I guess we’ll be fine
How many days till you mine Baby, just follow the signs (Ouais) J’ai beaucoup de temp pour ton time When you cry, you still fine (it’s true) Tous les jours a good time (with you) Bring you home, je t’accompagne (ooh) Babe you know well be fine
I guess we'll be fine Let's give time to time Just follow the sign Lovin' & sublime
I guess we'll be fine As long as you're mine Nothing more to find When yo say I'm yo kind
I guess we'll be fine Let's give time to time Just follow the sign Lovin' & sublime
I guess we'll be fine As long as you're mine Nothing more to find When yo say I'm yo kind

DA BREAK Lyon, France

The Lyon based band DA BREAK comes back with LET IT SHINE, a way more open minded new album.
Jazz, Reggae, G- Funk, Soul or Disco... they add some home made new influences, mixing their musical cultures. On some broken beats or big "Jamaican Style" bass lines, lead singer HAWA sheds her feminine and versatile light; A light that makes this new LP shine like a diamond. ... more
